Higher Praise Church 

 

Higher Praise Church was chartered with the Michigan Pentecostal Church of God on November 22, 2011 with Pastor Don Dennis.  

 

From November 2011 until August 2014, we had Church in a gym at a local Christian School.  Each week volunteers faithfully set up chairs, instruments and the sound system on Saturday night and packed everything back up after Church on Sunday night.  Also, during this time, we had prayer meeting and Bible study in our members homes on Wednesday nights.

 

We had been looking for a building with some property , praying that God would bless us with a home to call our own. God truly answers prayers. On June 6, 2013 we purchased a 10,000 square foot warehouse building with 27 acres to convert to a beautiful Church.

 

The building program lasted over a year with much of the work being done by volunteer Church members.  We had our first service in our new building in August 2014.

 

In addition to our worship services on Sundays and Wednesdays, our Church provides activities for people of all age groups.  We also host community education such as CPR and CPL (concealed pistol license) classes on a monthly basis.
